Male Adapters

Male Adapters (Stainless Steel Male Adapters) are tube fittings used to connect a straight tube end to a female-threaded port or component. One end of the adapter connects to the tube using a dual ferrule compression system (Swagelok-type), and the other end has a male threaded connection.   Common Thread Types: a. NPT Thread: Thread interference (uses PTFE sealant/tape) b. BSPP Thread: Uses O-ring or bonded washer c. BSPT Thread: Thread interference (similar to NPT)   d. JIC 37° Flare: 37° metal-to-metal flare seal
